IT System Engineer

Based in Geneva (HQ) and Singapore, operating in more than 30 countries, PSiDEO provides a wide range of premium outsourced IT services to global customers, as well as the technical expertise and reliability of a software publisher. Our activities are:

• Delivering IT as a Service by providing packaged services that include hardware, software and IT services at a fixed price per service per month: NGIT-Managed Services;

• Managing IT infrastructures: Adaptive Outsourcing: Audit, consulting, design, implementation, maintenance, training, strategic outsourcing of IT operations (including IT department management roles);

• Software development, among which our leading product B-Com Community and Event Management platform.

To join our IT infrastructure management team, we are looking for one IT System Engineer.

Mission

• End to end involvement in global infrastructure design, deployment, operations and support of NGIT (hybrid managed services in private cloud), public cloud and customers’ owned infrastructures leveraging leading technologies and serving all kind of business environments

• Design, implement, maintain and operate sophisticated, distributed, hybrid and multi-tenants IT solutions – technological ownership of NGIT building blocks

• Ensure optimal business usage of our industrialized and standardized infrastructure solutions – clients relationship ownership

• Participate (in different roles) to projects with colleagues

Skills
At PSiDEO, we value and develop combined expertise in in multiple technical domains for our engineering team. The combination of skills allows us to better design, deploy and operate our integrated IT solutions. For this position, you’ll work on:

• Large Windows infrastructures

• Hybrid Exchange messaging systems

• Unified Messaging, Videoconference and Telephony (Webex, Teams, …)

• Virtualization and Containerization with hybrid deployment (VMware, OpenStack, Azure and AWS)

• Server based computing: Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (or equivalent technologies) with VDI (NVIDIA vGPU, FSLogix Profile Management)

• Deployment and Automation: System Center Management Suite, Ansible

• Networking and Security of complex LAN, Wireless, Metro, SD-WAN deployments, Network Virtualization, VPN, ADC / WAF / Load-balancing (Cisco, Check Point, Citrix)

• Database systems (MS SQL Server and Oracle)

• Storage (HPE, Veritas, Cisco (network))

• PKI, HSM, KMS (Microsoft, Thales)

Profile

• Engineering school, university or polytechnic Masters in Computer Science, Communication Systems, Telecommunication

• At least 4 years of experience in production infrastructure operations

• Users and solutions oriented

• Strong capacity to analyze business requirements and propose relevant technical solutions

• Structured and synthetic approach

• Willingness to constantly learn and progress

• Ability to communicate in both technical and non-technical ways with clients and colleagues

• Perfect command of French and English : spoken and written, technical and common

• Rigorous, flexible, stress resistant, autonomous and passionate about computer science technologies

• Swiss or European nationality, B, C, G work permit
